Description
Wool and cotton, with a light brown central field decorated with a large polylobed central medallion in tones of dark blue, light blue, ivory and brown, flanked by a repeating geometric and floral composition symmetrically arranged along the longitudinal axis, with ivory-ground spandrels filled with scrolling branches, stylised leaves, small rosettes and angular motifs
Border composed of several guards, the main border on a dark blue ground, decorated with repeated palmettes, rosettes, stylised flowers and floral elements in tones of blue, ivory, brown and red, framed by secondary guards on light and blue grounds with smaller-scale geometric and floral motifs
Finished with fringes at both ends
