Description

Silver tureen of oval bulbous form with vertically fluted body. Projecting side handles decorated with scrolls and foliage motifs. Raised on a circular foot with moulded border. The cover repeats the fluted motif of the body and is surmounted by a flower or fruit finial surrounded by leaves. Oval platter with matching decoration and engraved monogram at centre. German, 19th/20th century. Unmarked, bearing a '800' mark
