Of elegant curved form, profusely enamelled in Famille Rose palette over a yellow ground, with openwork turquoise-glazed panels

The shaft decorated to the front with dense scrolling foliage, lotus flowers and peonies, the lateral edges with a continuous Greek key border

The lobed head, central knop and lower finial each with an openwork panel, the first depicting a bird amidst flowering branches, the second a composition of auspicious motifs including mystic knots, bats and coins, and the third the shou character flanked by stylised bats
