French silver
Body and base of engraved garlands and vines decoration, the cover, the lower section and the pedestal of ribbed motifs with stylised Etruscan Lions heads. The grain shaped pommel, on a pierced radiant field ornamented with frieze, alternating stylised papyrus flowers and ovals.
Hallmarks: Association of Goldsmiths (1794-1797), 1st Cockerel "mark A" (silver mark 1st grade for 1798), Paris warrantee, master goldsmith PC, Jerusalem cross and shell for Pierre CHAUVIN
