Moulded after Rococo models, with two lateral handles and raised on four scroll feet
Cover moulded in the form of an inverted leaf, with the stem curled to form the handle
With moulded relief decoration painted in underglaze blue with floral compositions
Qianlong period (1735-1796)
(cover restored; handles with minor restorations)

Additional Information

This form, frequently inspired by European silver models, was widely appreciated in 18th-century Western markets and reproduced in various European factories, such as Delft and Höchst.
