Chinese export porcelain. Octagonal form, with low body on a shaped foot and faceted cover, surmounted by a shell-shaped finial. Underglaze blue decoration depicting a lakeside landscape with pavilions, rocky islets and birds in flight, framed by a frieze of geometric pattern, foliage motifs and shells. Qianlong period (1736–1795). (hairline cracks, chips and signs of wear)
