Chinese export porcelain
Polychrome decoration with Famille Rose and rouge-de-fer enamels, with a central circular reserve depicting a European galant scene, showing a young man at the top of a ladder picking fruit from a cherry tree, a young woman seated by the tree, another figure kneeling beside a basket of flowers, a small dog and a straw hat on the ground
Central reserve bordered by a circular fillet, plain cavetto and decorated border with a braided rouge-de-fer band along the edge
Qianlong period, c. 1770
