Joaquim José Codina (late 18th, ealry 19th century) was a painter, copyist and watercolor artist of the Real Gabinete de História Natual of the Museu da Ajuda in Lisbon between the late 18th and the early 19th century.
Alongside another artist, José Joaquim Freire, he participated in the scientific expedition led by Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, that between 1783 and 1792 explored the backlands of the Amazon region, studying not only the economic possibilities of the three kingdoms of nature, but also the way of life and customs of the populations that inhabited it, especially the Aborigines.
