Additional Information

Note:
Fulco di Verdura, Duca di Verdura and Marchesi di Murata la Cerda (1898-1978) was one of the most remarkable jewellers of the 20th century. His close collaboration with Coco Chanel created iconic pieces such as the Maltese Cross cuff bracelets still defining of the French brand.
Several books are being published on the work (and life) of this star-jeweller, soon called "the fabulous Duke of Verdura" by the American press.
Fulco was cousin to Giuseppe Tomai di Lampedusa, author of "The Leopard"
Verdura jewels are highly desired by collectors worldwide
