Description

Qianlong six-character mark and of the period (1736-1795)
Delicately potted, with rounded sides, a flaring rim, and raised on a spreading stem. Decorated in deep shades of cobalt blue with eight 'lança' characters framed by a border of lotus scrolls around the rim and a frieze of flame lappets encircling the base of the bowl. The stem is adorned with lotus scrolls
