Additional Information

Aldo Cipullo (1936-1984) was one of the most important designers working for Cartier.
He is the author, among many other successful creations, of the mythical LOVE and JUST UN CLOU bracelets.
Cipullo was precursor in the symbiosis between high and every day jewellery.
In the words of Harry Fane, specialist in vintage Cartier, in a entreview for The Telegraph in December 2016: "What’s amazing about Cipullo is that he was the only outside designer who was ever allowed to sign Cartier pieces (...) original Love and Clou bangles are stamped Cartier, signed Cipullo, and dated with the year", that is also the case of the pair in the pair of earrings now offered for sale.
