Portuguese silver of the 18th century
Chiseled and scalloped decoration in relief in the baroque manner
Oval basin with framed tab and rocaille cartouches that extend to an engraved frieze with scrolls in the Bérain style
Ewer with scalloped foot decorated with shells and floral motifs; fluted joint and cup with floral clusters in relief and other floral and shell motifs, engraved frieze in the Bérain style; double scroll handle with winged feminine bust
Work of the 2nd half of the 18th century, almost certainly executed in Brazil; later remarked at Porto with assay mark (1836-1843) and António de Sousa Nogueira maker's mark (1809-1873)
