António Maria Ribeiro was a remarkable artist of the 20th century Porto.
His impressive versatility led him into explore diverse areas but was as a silversmith, sculptor and chisel that became famous and an essential reference of the Portuguese decorative arts of the first half of the 20th century
The quality of the chisel in his works is remarkable both in bronze and silver.
His first silver productions were commissioned by the jewellers Reis, Porto.
