James Augustus Labron was a Birmingham gunsmith of the first half of the 19th century
Octogonal barrels, muzzle load, with sights
Wood half-stocks with knurling and bone mount to the front
Iron mounts with floral engraved decoration
Wood rods
On its original wood red lined fitted case with a copper and brass powderflask marked “James Dixon & Sons / Sheffield”, a cleaning rod, another cleaning tool; wood, iron and brass keys and
a small hammer
(wear signs, one lock finial missing)
