White marble and chiseled and gilt bronze, representing a Monument to Love: the figure of Cupid holding a garland of flowers appears at the top of a cylindrical altar decorated with a foliage frieze and garlands; on the steps beside the altar, on the right side, a female figure in a position of adoration, kneeling, with raised arms and clasped hands, wearing a classically-inspired tunic; on the left side, on the upper step, a small tripod cassolette, flanked by two doves, on a draped mantle
Raised on a later stepped base with fluted frieze, in carved wood painted in imitation of green marble
Numbered in brown ink "153"
