At the centre the Távora coat-of-arms. The arms are those of D.Francisco de Assis de Távora, 3rd Conde de Alvor and Marquês de Távora by marriage

Additional Information

Note: D.Francisco de Assis de Távora and his whole family were accused and arrested after being pointed as the head of a conspiration against King D. José I in 1758. Denying all the charges the entire family was violently executed and all Távora estate destroyed.
In 1781 the family was acquitted by the Queen D.Maria I
