Additional Information
Tureens of this type, produced in China for the European market during the Kangxi and Yongzheng reigns, follow the form of French silver services and Rouen faience. Comparable examples are in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (inv. FE.20:1 to 3-1991) and the Museu Medeiros e Almeida, Lisbon.
