Additional Information
The “Bec de Gaz” or “Gaslight Lamp”, which imitates a street gas lamp, is a table clock with an eight-day winding produced by Jaeger-LeCoultre between 1955 and 1970. This example, with the name “Rue de la Paix”, appears as a celebration of the brand to this famous street in Paris, where haute couture and jewelry were world-renowned. These watches were sold in authorized sellers' stores.
