Madame LE LORRAIN, wife of Louis-Joseph LE LORRAIN (Paris 1715 - Saint-Petersburg 1759) French painter, engraver, decorator and architect, designer of the elements of the furniture of the famous "Greek-style cabinet" (1756 - 1758) of the Lalive de July private mansion, then "First painter of the Empress of all the Russias, Director of her Academy of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture in Saint-Petersburg", of which he was the founder.
Alexandre LENOIR (1762-1839) collector, founder and curator of the Museum of French Monuments (Musée des Monuments Français) in 1795.
