Scalloped white porcelain with gold highlights, belonging to the Great Service of Field Marshal Bernard MAGNAN.
Monogramed B.M. with gilt filets and Field Marshal's polychrome batons

Additional Information
Provenance: Bernard Pierre Magnan, Field-Marshal of France (1791-1865). Present in Waterloo (1815), he takes part in the expeditions to Spain (1823) and to Argel (1830). He fought the 1848 insurrections in Paris and, in June 1849, in Lyon, as well as taking part in the December 2, 1852 coup d'état. Was appointed Royal Master of Hounds in 1852. Magnan's Field-Marshal baton is kept at the Musée de l'Armée in Paris.
