Profusely decorated in relief, engraved and chased with volutes, shell and floral motifs, angel heads, grapes and vine leaves
Foot and cup with cartouches depicting scenes of the life of Christ
Tete de Minerve 1 assay mark (1838-1971), maker's mark and interior of the base with inscription "D'ABAT ALEX.us BILLIET ARCHIÊPUS CAMB.is 1846"
With original fitted leather and velvet lined case
